  • This is what the phrase "can't see past their nose" looks like. OP has correctly identified a problem, and identified the fault. They just haven't internalized the wide reaching effects of a total dismantling.

This is not something that's going to be good for people like you're hoping. This is going to hurt a lot, and if history is to believed it won't be replaced by the people who share your views. It'll be another future fascist government.

    • Almost like it's a post on 196 celebrating the idea of the collapse of a genocidal regime

I swear debatelords are beside themselves if they are asked to let people enjoy things

      • You're going to have difficulty finding an audience to sit there and listen to you celebrate something that will actively bring more suffering to others than the current status quo.

        • Yeah the 70% of people here who support border fascism would probably not be too happy if their shit nation collapsed, it's true

I'm saying I'd be happy to see this genocidal state die

          • Self imploding genocidal states are not generally replaced by better people.

Haven't really seen you address this anywhere and it gives the appearance that your intentionally arguing in bad faith.

            • I'm not arguing at all. I'm celebrating the idea of a horrible nation that's brought nothing but harm collapsing.

I have ideas, but I certainly wouldn't try to engage in a thread like this that's filled with pearl-clutching American liberals and even overt racists.

              • "Everyone that disagrees with me is bad"

You're in your own home instance. If the vast majority is disagreeing with you and your home instance has nothing to say you might consider reevaluating your position.

                • I've been told the majority of people believe we should be supporting Israel and committing border fascism, so I'm not too interested in what the majority of USAmericans think. Yet another reason to smile while thinking about its collapse
