I'm not from the US but I'd be pretty surprised if deciding on the length of a presidential term limit is something a president could just decide on.
Like doesn't something like that require an act of congress? I'd be surprised if it doesn't require a supermajority to even get through there.
But that's the point: will he go extralegal
I mean he can do whatever he wants, but like there has to basically be a significant consensus backing him or he just gets removed by force on Jan 21. He doesn't have to believe in the law but if everybody else does that doesn't really matter.
He has millions of backers. Whether it'll be enough is the question.
