  • It's unsettling yet unsurprising to see how deeply intertwined oil industry tactics are with policy-making. These 'casual' tactics bypass public scrutiny and directly threaten the progress we should be making in climate action. We definitely need stricter lobbying regulations and greater transparency in government interactions to ensure that environmental priorities aren't sidelined by corporate interests. Only then can we hope to make genuine strides towards sustainable energy solutions. The health of our planet isn't a bargaining chip.
