Cause that is a hard no for me in any software.
Even on a laptop keyboard, you have 9 function keys and 77 others available. That's 702 possible combos without even getting into any weird 3-key-stuff. More than anyone could ever remember or use.I don't think so, no. And I agree on that point actually, but people who are used to tmux or screen, which seems to be the target audience, would presumably be fine with it.
Yes, you can bind any ratpoison action, function or external program to anything you want without needing to use the prefix key.
