I think I have some fucked up deviated septum shit or something because most of the time I only really get good air flow from one nostril
now I'm having like huge ass nose hairs just shooting everywhere (because the curse of being male is your nose hairs, nose cartilage, ear hairs and cartilage never stop growing, apparently, what is that)

same.. i have to sleep on my left side or i will wake up feeling like im dying. If I lay on my right side my nose just plugs and I can't breathe for shit. I had a surgery for it and it did basically nothing except cause me to lose weight because i couldn't taste or smell for about 2 weeks and completely lost interest in food
oh cool so if i can ever get surgery it might not even help
that sucks though, I'm really sorry :/ I have to shift around in the night or else my back ends up hurting... like pressure builds up in weird spots on my spine until I get it just right. if I HAD to lay on my left side I would be so screwed so many nights when it ends up feeling painful

I brutally pull all my nose hairs out with tweezers because I am a masochist
I pull mine out with my fingers mostly, but will also bust out a tweezers for the hard to reach ones. I have no idea why they keep growing back when they are clearly not welcome
