I love showers. Would be unusual I’m not in there for an hour.
It’s the only time I get to myself. Once everyone is asleep, I get to unwind.
That's wasteful as fuck.
So is driving around for alone time
So is lots of stuff
Same could be said for many other hobbies/activities that people use to unwind

Luckily I have a hydro electric generate on my shower drain. To produce electricity as I shower. Also my water is fed from a natural stream. It’s used to cool nuclear fusion rods along the way to me, that’s how it gets hot.
So really. Not much waste.
