I can't tell where the plot is headed, but it's a very nice-looking pilot. The characters remind me of me and my friends when we were in school, a bit weird, edgy, but also trying (and failing) to somehow fit in. It also looks like they met their kickstarter goal for episode 2, so now I've got something to look forward to :3
He talks a little about the direction and themes he wants to explore in the behind the scenes video.
