Well, I don't know if Buchner is actually going to be better than Milroe. But from what I saw on Saturday, Alabama isn't going to win anything significant with Milroe under center. So maybe it's worth a shot to see if Buchner can perform against live competition.
As an Irish fan, I was never high on Buchner and it's odd seeing him get the nod at Alabama.
I thought he played pretty decent against us in the Gator Bowl
He's not bad by any means. I just never thought he had enough to be our qb let alone make it in a place like Alabama. But maybe whatever offense Rees and Saban have cooked up will suit him better there.
Or, hear me out here, don't make the change?
