A closer look at Boebert's wild night out shows activities not suitable for the eyes of children
As more and more details are being revealed about Rep. Lauren Boebert's wild night out in Denver last weekend — having been kicked out of "Beetlejuice" the musical for vaping and just generally being a public nuisance with her male companion — a full picture is coming together of what the other theater patrons around her that night had to endure.
Newly released footage of the night in question appears to show Boebert's exposed breasts being fondled by her date for an extended period of time while she, in turn, dawdles around in his lap with her hand. As many have pointed out on social media, having seen this footage, children were seated all around the couple that night, within viewing range of what they were up to.
"Laurent Boebert was jerking her date off in public while he gropes her in a theater where children were present and yet she continues to attack LGBTQ people as 'threats to children,'" writes journalist and clinical instructor Alejandra Caraballo on X, sharing the footage of Boebert in the act.
I mean, it's per personal life, who the fuck cares? She's a shitty representative for all kinds of reasons just based on what she does in congress. This all feels very "gotcha"-ish, as if in some congressional office some democratic staffer was just giddy about releasing this to the public. Maybe I'm burnt out on it all but I have no appetite for this kind of politics anymore.
If anyone in politics besides her or another Republican did this, their entire party would be up in arms screaming the word impeachment and making demands. It's small potatoes in the context of people being people, but these are congresspeople and they all collectively decide the legal rights we have. And her party is actively stripping the rights of women and marginalized groups. Why shouldn't they be scrutinized?
Yeah, small potatoes while she's out there accusing those on drag of grooming children for simply existing in drag and reading a book. Small potatoes while she's accusing gay people of being sexual in front of children for being gay. Uh huh. This doesn't matter. Of course. There's no hypocrisy whatsoever.
Who cares? How about the people she keeps shaming as sexual deviants and a threat for children for just existing and genuinely trying to make their life more difficult, and here she is being exactly what she excuses them to be... that deserves her being shamed for her hypocrisy by sharing this information to potential constituents.
