Yeah the crux of the issue here is whether or not they're actually a relative, and if I'm expecting them.
Show up unexpected at 2am? I'm probably not opening the door for safety reasons. If it's expected company but they're just late, I'll let them in.
The visitor in the comic is obviously fake because everyone knows they don't wear cowboy hats in Kokomo for safety reasons
Nobody in the 1910s would be caught dead outside without a hat though.
I would have expected at the very least for a plant pot to go flying down from the balcony, I guess Mr. True hadn't fully woken up and come to his senses yet lol
As for me, there is no scenario where someone I care about turns up at my door at that kind of time (they either know to call or text first if they expect an answer at the door, or live too far away for me to be where they go in an emergency), so if anyone did turn up, I'd probably just hide in the dark until they fucked off ¯(ツ)/¯
They would have to spend a good five to twenty minutes convincing me they were a real cousin of mine, and that they are visiting for non-criminal emergency reasons. That's if they managed to wake me at all.

I'm glad all that info I put in the sticky was helpful. I'm thinking of taking a break from doing so much social media. The last couple weeks have been rough. Anyway, other people are posting here so I'm glad to see this community will thrive.
