Apple’s iPhone modem is almost ready for prime time

Apple plans ot move away from Qualcomm's cellular modems over the next three years.

I hope this turns out better than the Intel modem they had in the XS before going back to Qualcomm. One of the reasons I was excited to get the 12PM was because it had a Qualcomm modem, it easily outperformed the Intel one.
You know the gist guys: wait for the second or third generation and let the suckers take the fall first.
