To be fair, I don't see notifications implemented in any other app, TestFlight or AppStore-published. Am I crazy here?
Lemmios has working notifications. You can even set up an alert system to send a notification whenever a new post is made in a specific community.
They're the only ones tho? I get that a lot of them are still TestFlight(y) but I kinda don't want that to be the dictating feature that compels which I use. I mean, I guess I don't "need" it per se, might even be better off that way. I'm very choosy about what apps get to ping me all day and their behaviour/intrusiveness determines which get a voice and which are silenced.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. I think LW is on 0.18.5, which is what I’m running and I get push notifications with no issues.

Ya, its not important enoughto me right now to switch and its exceedingly unlikely anybody is going to persuade me (not even me!?) to switch. Memmy really freaking scratches much of the itch Apollo left, although its impossible for anyone to do that altogether. I'm a simple, complicated man
Fair enough, it’s awesome that we have so many great choices right now! The apps are all maturing and gaining features and in a year I’d bet we have several very solid options to choose from.
I do keep my fingers crossed that Christian will release an Apollo for Lemmy someday.
