I wish trailforks had a wearos app. I believe they have an exclusive contract with Garmin though.
I'm there for the hike and the nature, not the technology but ok..
Most of the reason I wear a smartwatch is to prevent me from pulling my phone out. If I can avoid doing that and know I'm still on the (sometimes poorly marked) trail it's a win.
I have the sun, my forestry skills from scouts and empty jugs for piss water. I'm good
