I want a phone like a paper map where when completely unfolded, I'd be unsure how to fold it back.
And that you can sort of fold back the wrong way, just not completely flat.
Make an app that guides users when folding the phone
I mean if never want one, but in an engineering level this site looks fascinating.

Which is, arguably, for the worse. I miss smaller 16:9 devices I could use one-handed and reach all the corners of. Almost cried when I had to give up my OnePlus 3 and everything now is an unwieldy, tall-skinny rectangle.
I've not had a hands-on experience with foldables yet, but the reviews I've read imply they still seem too fragile for the price.
My wrist hurts, gimme back my tiny pixel 4a.

I would argue there is also a national component to this. Huawei, a leading Chines tech company (heavily sanctioned by the US), was first to bring a trifold to the market.
