And despite the wonderful conditions, nobody wants to work anymore.

Yeah, I used to work at a place where they didn't give us a break, and instead gave everybody two three hour shifts with a two hour gap between them

That sounds like just a long break, but it was the most depressing thing to sit in a small room on your phone for an hour and a half after you finish your meal

Breaks instead of pay sounds like it would illegal if that's what is actually happening
