[James Ducker T1] MUFC will announce the findings of their internal investigation into Mason Greenwood in advance of their first game against Wolves on August 14
There are really only two possible scenarios here:
they are leaning towards bringing him back and this is a gauge of public opinion about it.
They have scheduled a meeting for August 14 to make the final decision, because that's when the Glazers will have time to vote? or something.
Feel like it's #1, and they are leaning towards bringing him back, can't help but think it's gonna be due to the recent Acquittal of Mendy, even though Greenwood's case is much more clear cut and we have all seen and heard what he has done.
Thing is, I can see some powerful reactions from the women's team (which I would fully support). Like I wouldn't be surprised if players of the women's team refuse to represent the club.
Then what do you do?
Fuck Mason. Ship him and get a fee for him. I heard Saudi are looking for players.
When someone in an abusive relationship doesn't get the right support it's quite common to just settle down, get that kid or a second kid, move along, even if all accusations were true. It's a dark, dark path. The fact they are still together doesn't prove shit.
I'm gonna be gutted if he somehow represents us again and it's gonna backfire so hard in more than one way. Just dump him in the trash and move along.
Dude is going to end up playing for us again somehow. I'm sure there will be an interview with both him and her with soft questions and he will be sorry and it will be swept away.
Although the press releases say it isn't up to EtH - I find it hard to believe it's not up to him. He seems like a no-fuss kind of manager and I doubt he'd want this kind of unwanted attention while he's trying to build something special.
Seems it would make more sense to announce now so he can either start getting reps with the first team or sold. Is SA really not beating the door down to get this guy?
