Was that Alonso's fault? That seemed like Ocon's fault since there was snap of oversteer just before.
8 0 ReplyDefinitely not. Esteban lost it and widened his "trajectory" into Fernando's front left.
9 0 ReplyYeah, absolutely. I suppose you could argue that Fernando could've been even further to the right, but no, Esteban has to take the fall for that one, me thinks.

If Ocon thinks the loss of control was because of the line he had to take because of Alonso’s position on the track, then, maybe? Seems like a bit of a stretch but Alonso could have been a little wider if he was on a slow lap but I mean nothing seems especially egregious to me
5 0 ReplyOcon seems to have just gone straight into Alonso

Go Danny!
7 0 ReplyDR P4 in SQ2! Both ATs, really, since Yuki is P10 currently. Impressive!
7 0 ReplyIt really is!

That post race interview by Lando was my favorite of all time hands down.
7 0 ReplyHehe, yeah. The lap really did look quite scruffy at points, with a cleaner lap he would've really beaten it out of the park, so to speak.

Nice one Lando, and Danny!
Edit: And Yuki!
5 0 ReplyProst still the undefeated champion of Interlagos, with 6 wins. Surprised to see Lewis "only" has 3.
5 0 ReplyGo Lando!
5 0 Reply"Max, that was not expected". Now's not the time for you to be cheeky, Checo.
4 0 ReplySprint qualifying at its best. Congratulations Lando!
3 0 ReplyWhat a mess in the pitlane exit.. Max having to fight his way out on track.
3 0 ReplyThey should have made the session 4 minutes. The first 4 were pointless now. Nobody wanted to go before the last possible window...

That dent in the headrest is another nice example of how cool all those protection mechanisms are.
2 0 ReplyPerez just seemed to block Verstappen's lap, only to pit. Did he mess up during that run?
2 0 ReplyI'm not sure what happened there. Based on the "that was not expected" comment on the radio it sounded like he went rogue for a bit.

Excited to see what McLaren can do today, and if the Astons really have a bit more pace than they've generally had for the second part of the season.
2 0 ReplyAbsolutely, yesterday was looking like anyone's and then the rain came!

Is this the first time Perez has been ahead of Max in a session, this year? Certainly feels like it.
1 0 Reply😂😂😂sky is playing the radio messages and there is no sound whatsoever, complete silence. Wonderful broadcast, hope it gets flex for race day
EDIT: Crowd and pit lane sounds! “Technical difficulties” graphic is gone! Thank god. I did not know how much I missed it
1 0 ReplyIs the audio for the broadcast strange for anyone else? I feel like i can barely hear the cars at all; it might be engine noise getting picked up on Crofty’s mic. Also the theme music did not play, it was silent.
1 0 ReplyI'm on F1TV, with the Sky audio track and it seems fine here.
1 0 ReplyThe Sky feed does say “Technical Difficulties” in the bottom corner now, and every so often the picture “pops” like a piece of equipment is being A/B switched to try and fix the issue.
2 0 ReplySame here, all sounds normal.
