I am in fight with myself on this topic. On one side having a diploma helps a lot getting a job and someone who has gone to university is being listened to more than someone who hasn't gone there. On the other side the thing in the meme.
My mother wants me to go but I have no idea if I should listen to her.
In all honesty, you should go. Your revenge can be in getting a degree in science, technology, medicine... Something boring but very practical. Avoid courses that seek to brainwash you politically...
Go and make money and invest that in what YOU like.
That's my serious advice.
