Its not even subtle. "Blue lives matter" is a direct response to black lives matter. Black lives matter is a protest against police killing black people. Blue lives matter is Im on the side of police killing black people. Its flagrant. Im honestly shocked to see this imagery plastered everywhere by suburban dipshits. I say without hyperbole these thin blue line flags are the new swastika. They boldly state "I want n*****s dead"
The Capitol cops beat the hell out of innocent J6 protesters, and the videos are finally coming out. [...] The cops should be charged and the protesters should be freed."
Funny how when it was BLM vs the cops, they were cheering for the cops to murder more black people because they were uppity for challenging the status quo.
That's how it's supposed to be, and why this is such a challenge for the political Right. For them, the cops are allies, and it was incomprehensible that they would put up any opposition at all.
By and large this has always been the case, the the police are guardians of order and the primacy of capital, and that's the side the Right is almost always on, so it's understandable how precedent would have led them to believe that it'd always be the case.
And they were shocked and hurt to find out that it wasn't.
For the record, they feel the same way about the military.
Yes, and I often point to their hysterical outrage at the shooting of Ashli Babbitt as a prime example of this. Someone breaking and entering the Capitol, with a mob of people that had murderous intent, ends up getting shot and they are apoplectic about this, and still are.
The idea that right wing white people might not be allowed to get away with just about anything absolutely infuriates them to no end. Meanwhile, if a black guy happens to get murdered by a cop for selling loose cigarettes or whatever....well, he had it coming. Or had drugs in his system, or whatever the fuck, who cares, why are we even talking about this?
I get that the military is a heavily conservative organization, but I feel like they'd be surprised that the military wouldn't just let them walk into bases and take orders from them
Speaking at a rally in Houston, Texas, on November 2, Trump described those incarcerated after the January 6 riot as "hostages, not prisoners." It came after organizers played "Justice for All." It is a rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" by the J6 Prison Choir, made up of men imprisoned after the riot, interspersed with Trump reciting the pledge of allegiance.
The depths of stupidity don’t surprise me anymore. If this isn’t an ad for lead abatement, I don’t know what is.
Unfortunately he has a real chance of winning the presidency and given how his collaborators are laying the groundwork, he might actually be able to get things like this (and far worse).
The US as the sole superpower might not survive if he gets elected again. I imagine he would close off to the world and pick the bones of the rich corpse the old US would leave behind.
I mean, when you consider that the protesters were completely peaceful and how the cops rushed in and kicked their asses, this makes complete sense. /s
Edit: Do people not understand that it's pretty clear this article has been brigaded by right wing nutjobs who have scewed the needle to the left, and those are the people I'm mocking?
