KDE Plasma 6 Tip: How to remove watermark preview banner from desktop

Hello!

Do you hate the watermark preview banner?

Add the text HideDesktopPreviewBanner=true just after [General] in the file ~/.config/kdeglobals. You will have something as the following:

[General]
HideDesktopPreviewBanner=true

Better for OLEDs displays, stylish, auto-suspend all-blacks displays, etc.

Thank you SO MUCH. I installed the nightly version a few weeks ago and this was really bothering me.
Huh? That looks like Windows 10 wtf
- It is just for the nightly releases to clarify which version you are working with. Nothing that will come to the stable channel.
  
  I understand this, but i thought KDE has their own design and fonts.
  
  It's just a weird decision that's what i mean
- No it is a disclaimer that that is not released software and will have bugs
- It's to facilitate the transition to Linux for Windows users
- How could "tHe OpEnSouRcE ComMunItY" dare to open an issue if there is a problem.
  
  This attitude is stupid and doesnt help the project.
Use a stable version
