So demanding!
So demanding!
So demanding!
It's on the to do list. which means it'll get done
sometime
when I remember I have a to do list and the things above it on the todo list are actually a lower priority than this or can't be done right now
*and the things above it on the too list are higher priority and I'm procrastinating them harder than this
I feel called out by this statement. At least something is getting done though.
Showering, I'll get to it eventually, and if someone reminds me i won't
Yeah, but like... You really should be showering every day. If someone is telling you to do it, You've likely gone too long.
You don't say. /s The problem isn't ignorance. It's a lack of motivation and / or depression.
Showering every day might be excessive for some.
Showering has never become a habit for me. Hygiene has never become a habit. I have to physically make myself do those things and often enough, I don't have the spoons to do them
Do you actually need to shower every day? Or is it just a cultural thing that doesn't really have any basis in science?
I mean, if you're not doing much or straining yourself all day, you don't really sweat or get dirty.
I'm doing it. I'M DOING IT!
Jeez.
I honestly don't understand how they can expect that of us. It's rude is what it is.
Sometimes I have a hard time telling when ADHD memes are sincere expressions of a shared experience or people putting thier friends on blast.
This is the most relatable thing I've read today, which is really saying something considering the multiple hours I've spent on Lemmy so far, a platform full of relatable posts.
"If I say I'll get something done, I'll get it done. No need to remind me every 6 months about it."
