Great, now partner with Microsoft and merge it with Windows so the majority of Android users might finally stop emailing themselves, or sending files through their messaging app of choice
- KDE Connect works great for now.
  
  Google has a Nearby Share beta for Windows. W If that's not your cup of tea, Pairdrop works okay too.
  
  Good choice, although I prefer rsync for wireless and adb for wired transfers
- Or just use fucking Warpinator its 10 times faster. Only beaten by cable connection.

  In the end, it’s all kind of the same thing. You are uploading a file from device A to someone else’s computer and then downloading to device B instead of directly sending files between devices A and B.

IMO if they could make the options more easily understood or let users select the way the files needs to be shared.
I have often found that Nearby would be using F* Bluetooth to send files.

Has anyone tried LocalSend? Not android specific, not sure about Windows tho
- Local send is better than everything else, including nearby share (both the windows version and the android one). And it's fastest by far.
  
  I've found photon to be the fastest for me
  but I use warpinator as it has additional security considerations and automatic file send and receive (without confirmation)
  
  @MayonnaiseArch @rhythmisaprancer just tried it against quick share, but it took a while compared to quick share(same file, same wifi network) any reason why?
- I use it and like it. The only time I had trouble was as a moved very big archives from one pc to a laptop it didn't work.
