Just needs an edit with more believable names. Nobody's called their baby girl Agnes for probably 500 years unless she was born as an elderly woman.
77 12 ReplyAgnieszka is not that uncommon a name, and it could be shortened to Agnes.
23 0 ReplyUm Agnes is short for Agnintendo Entertainment System.
49 0 ReplyYeah but only in Poland

I know a couple named Bob and Agnes. They're in their mid 60s iirc.
21 0 ReplyI bet they did bdsm

lol what? It's a fairly common name in all the Nordic countries at the very least, and fairly sure in Britain as well. The post is obviously American, but that name is not an uncommon one.
Anecdotally I know of at least three, two adults and one just starting school.
20 0 ReplyI'd suggest that a couple replies here took my response too literally but don't want to have to come back and explain that I'm not accusing anybody of stealing.

Name your daughter Agnes, get some BDSM revenge. Seems legit.
7 0 ReplyToo be fair, I really like the name - you just gotta french it up! (Agnès; ɑɲˈɛs)
But I guess Bravely Default was not as popular as I'd like and I've never heard the french version elsewhere.

And the fact they took the time to fix the autocorrect not capitalizing the words spelled out for BDSM. If you are angry it's not happening.
6 0 ReplyIt's amazing what toxic assholes say to try to "prove" that posts are fake. I wish you and everyone else would have left that dumb, cynical shit at Reddit.

I mean if a grown man doesn't know what that term means it's certainly not his child's fault. like fuck.
55 1 ReplyHonestly yeah. This is pretty much required life knowledge now. They should teach it in school!

I always want this to be genuine every time I see it. Sounds plausible enough.
26 1 ReplyThat would be absolutely hilarious to tell people that they should put pineapples upside down in their shopping cart so they don't roll around.

12 0 Replyi didnt know what it meant until now and i wish i didnt look it up
11 3 ReplyHow… can someone genuinely now know what bdsm stands for? That's honestly just baffling.
45 7 ReplyShocking but not everybody knows everything.
Pop quiz:

- TCP/IP
- What does the K stand for when referring to the music of Mozart
- IATA
Edit: Answers
- Age, sex location. Old school Internet days.

- Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol. It’s one way that packets move through a network. Another would be UDP.
- Köchel. is the person that chronologically catalogued Mozart’s music.
- International Air Transport Association. Sets technical standards for airlines.
25 1 ReplyYou don't know the age of the other person
10 0 ReplyIdk people usually don't care enough to go out of their way to research a term like that
4 0 Replyit's a bit of a thing with me
2 0 ReplyNo one is born knowing what those letters stand for. In fact, people don't even know what letters or words are when they are born. So obviously there must be a point in each person's life when they go from not knowing to knowing. That will happen at different time for different people, depending on who they talk to and what their interests are.
If you want to better understand how someone can not know what bdsm stands for, perhaps you should just reflect on something you've learnt recently. Anything at all. Just think about how you didn't know it, but now you do. That's how to works.
