I never even had MTV. Any Canadian know if Much Music still exists and/or plays music?
Much still exists, but there hasn't been music on there for a long time.

Funny thing. I didn't have MTV growing up. I had Much Music. I'm from the US btw.

To answer your question. Looks like they rebrand themselves as Much in 2013. So no. They copied MTV.
Rob Dyrdek finessed his way into MTV and now he's all they air. Dude hustled MTV cuz their management got lazy and he basically took over for them.
