What does your home screen look like?

I keep things simple and use Spotlight for most navigation.
- A fellow spotlight navigator! There are dozens of us!

I like keeping a little extra space
- Do you live near a coast? The weather is so nice
  
  US west coast. Generally pretty temperate climate.

I try to keep all interactive UI elements at the bottom so I can use the phone with one hand more easily.

- I like the stability of keeping my settings in the same place across devices. I do travel a lot and often adjust my data roaming, SIM card, and date/time settings (I like my phone to be on the destination time the moment the plane takes off). Mostly it has to do with keeping my priority apps on the right side of the phone, rather than in the dock—my most used apps are all in the two rightmost columns.

I like to keep everything on one page. Also, I am an app hoarder. Each folder has multiple pages, grouped together. Some icons are shortcuts which bring up a list of related apps. It looks like a lot but it works for me lol.

Homescreen, what for?

I always tried to have my most used apps up front and upgraded to folders, once that was a thing. So far it still works for me, all else goes via spotlight. Rarely do I see page two. 🙃

I keep all my third-party apps on page two. That's also the page I activate before locking the phone.

I have a shortcut to change the wallpaper every day to whatever is the Bing image. Keeps it fresh.

Most used apps grouped in dock

I like to keep space at the bottom, and only 3 buttons in the dock. Most-used, quick access in the bottom right.
