I would prefer to stay on topic rather than talk about Trump. Unlike you I don’t have an obsession with him.
The only reason so many people are “obsessed” with him is because all 350M or so of us saw exactly the sort of person he is, and exactly the sort of damage he could do as president. Some people liked that. Most of us were horrified, and were additionally horrified by the fraction of people who did actually genuinely like him because of the things he did and continues to do. It’s a litmus test.
But yes - you’re nominally right, so let’s put the man aside for a moment. Personally, I’m still curious which current, national-level GOP policies you continue to find compelling.
Find an appropriate thread, and we can talk about it. I have no issues talking about politics when it's appropriate such as the GOP disdain for electric cars but not interested in talking about politics when it isn't relevant to the discussion. Not everything in my life is political as I am a moderate.

You brought up Trump when it wasn’t relevant to virtue signal. I didn’t like the man when he was a democrat and he’s far from a republican, much less a conservative republican.
Bill clinton was the best republican president we’ve had in years. He accomplished more Republican Party stances than anyone else.

Only a person with an obsession would bring up Trump not a discussion where someone already stated they wanted to stay on topic and Trump has no relevant to the topic.
