His mission is hype-based businesses that fight unions as hard as possible. Even if goals like affordable space travel and electric vehicles are good goals, he's not going about it the right way. History tells us the way you do things also matters. Building the transcontinental railroad system was a great project that helped unite the USA, but that doesn't justify the way the white worker's grievances were ignored or the mistreatment of Chinese migrant workers.
He has no good goals. It is just a massive grift. Everything he touches will either shut down or turn into a "conventional" company the moment he leaves. It is just hype to drive sales or the next capital raise.
Back when he was only known for electric cars, space tech and his plans to provide free internet to the whole world with starlink it wasn't as bad if someone not knowing better thought that he intends good.
Then came all that anti union shit and his far right statements and childish behaviour with twitter and a lot of other stuff.
If after all that one still thinks elon means good they are either blind fanboy or really fucking stupid
There is nothing to unpack here. Stop trying to be oh-so-goddamned-clever, as if engaging with the constant barrage of pronouncements by these social parasites is a productive or meaningful endeavor.
One of the stupidest men of all time got lucky and landed in wealth. His shitty opinions were picked up by lots of people. I had to see them on the internet so many times that I eventually went insane. And that's the story of how I became the Answer Your Telephone man in Kansas City.
Him wanting to die on mars is the only thing he's said that I'm like " yeah that does kinda sound cool" more just for the feeling of being born on one planet and dying on another feels kinda cool to me, everything else that comes out of his mouth is batshit crazy, but dying on another planet does seem cool to me.
