And I’m not just talking about Barbie. Look at all the dudes frothing at the mouth over the live action The Little Mermaid and Snow White, and before that over the Netflix She-Ra.

Barbie is definitely made for adults.
Hey, I'm pissed at the Little Mermaid and Snow White, but that's because I'm pissed at ALL the live action remakes. They're unnecessary garbage, every last one of them. If they want new generations to enjoy the stories, restore/upgrade/remaster/etc. the originals and stop "vaulting" them.
And I don't know anything about She-Ra. If it's anything like the He-Man reboot, fuck yes, go for it.
Grown-ass men were mad the new She-Ra wasn’t “hot.” I wish I was making that up.

Not really, imo. It was pretty boring, tbh.
Considering Barbie was PG-13 it is very much not a movie "made for little kids", which is the argument these people use to complain about it.
