so daydreaming is a coping mechanism that our brains use for boredom. boredom is something people with ADHD experience more frequently.
in other words, many daydreamers have ADHD but not all
7 1 ReplyAlso, cognitive disengagement syndrome or CDS. (It is not recognized yet by the DSM, though).
1 0 ReplyYep! CDS is at a weird place. I've worked with people who present that way - it's quite different from ADHD. I think over the years we're going to reshift some of how we look at ADHD and sister conditions.
