So, you thought this was going to be a harem? Think again! Fenrys won't allow it. All these ladies around her husband only want one thing, until she corrects their way of thinking. Also, she was able to learn how to overcome the can't cook anything trope within the span of a single episode. So, she is pretty much the strongest possible anime waifu around. I also want to give an honorable mention to Blossom. She seems to be living her best life, cultivating the soil, and airing out her muscles. Never change Blossom!
One thing I wanted to talk about briefly is the realization that our MC has this episode that he killed Fenrys's brother (albeit unintentionally). I think the way that Fenrys simply accepts this and they move on is a bit of a wasted opportunity. I can understand from her character why she simply accepts it as her brother was too weak and now he's dead. But, what I don't understand, is how Flio is able to simply move on. I feel like if I found out that I accidentally killed the brother of somebody I cared about, it wouldn't be resolved with a simple sentence like that. It would stick with me and I would want to make amends in some way. I guess I just lack the isekai MC energy to move on like that.
Really looking forward to next episode with the Demon King shows up. I really like what he brings to the table in this story.
Been following the manga, and he does reflect more and deeper on the thing about the brother a bit later in the story (even though it does take him somewhat little time to accept it), hopefully it makes it to the anime
Chalk up one for the translator, because I'm pretty sure that she was originally just ending all her sentences with nyan, although I admit I wasn't paying close attention.
(Yes, I've been calling myself "meow" in Japanese. Both my cats approve.)
