South Korean police on Tuesday arrested a pastor who is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting North Korean defector children, according to investigators.
Kinda feel like the number of times pastors, priests, and other religious leaders have gotten caught doing this reflects some kind of pattern, I just can't seem to put my finger on it...
Most research shows that child predators seek out positions of authority and trust in order to best take advantage of youth. It not only forms a relationship of trust, but one of fear if they speak out. Id imagine it's way easier to become a pastor/preacher/preist than it is a teacher, or school liaison officer, or community leader.
Not saying there aren't problems with the church/religion as a whole. Christianity especially, most Christians now days represent almost everything Jesus spoke against.

As an atheist, I find it surreal that I behave more in line with Christ's teachings than most Christians I know. And I know the bible better, which is also weird.
