Sunset after thunderstorm last night (Kansas City)

Got stuck at MCI during this storm! The storm looked absolutely devastating from the terminal.

The amount of people that still lack power over a day later is insane. I was lucky and had my power back on within 3 hours of the initial blackout.

I knew we were boned when the Tonganoxie split didn't happen. We were pretty lucky to just have a power blip at my place, it only went out for about 30 seconds. At least there wasn't any hail this time. On a side note, I love sunsets after a good storm, the colors are stunning.
