Four. I'm really looking forward to the day that the onlyfans thots clue in that the lemmy algo just makes you look like a gigantic spammy tool when you saturate every community at once like this, its just... getting to be a lot, lately.
You know, I agree with you and I thought your opinion was valid already. This isn't Reddit and posting and reposting the same things half a dozen times is just going to earn a block from me if it's egregious enough.
That being said I'm absolutely laughing at this power move. Self-tying is really hard and I think you did a pretty good job.
The knots in the back are are a disaster but thank you. I love lemmy because it feels like reddit back in the very very early days, both the good and the bad parts. The NSFW communities are always slow to catch on, but I have great hopes for the fediverse
Eh, I'm sure they're better than you think. The rope cupping your breasts looked a bit loose so that may have been contributing to things traveling a bit more than you would have liked. Still better than anything I could do with my stupid asymmetrical shoulders 😁
Yeah, I agree that it does have that spark of a feeling of early Reddit days, but it's also inherited a bunch of the problems with new Reddit. Mostly just that everything needs to be highly politicized or posted just to be outrage porn. I will say that the people here are definitely more genuine, passionate and interesting. I've got my reservations about the long-term health of NSFW here though, but that's an entirely different discussion.
I mean, she's not really competing against much content... I see you posted some OC but it's in a comment. You're not really starting your own threads/posts.
Not everyone wants to carry a community on their backs, just for the sake of it. Posting your own OC as a non-content creator tends to get your inbox flooded with DMs. If that's not what you're looking for then it's actually a huge hassle.
All I'm saying is there isn't a ton of content on here - it's not as if anyone else that is not selling is posting much. The NSFW communities are pretty slow. Half ( or much more) of the NSFW content here on lemmy are just bots reposting stuff from Reddit. I'm not going to complain about someone actually posting content.
I'm not going to complain about someone actually posting content.
Maybe you won't, but the Lemmy community has shown time and time again over the past year that it will take every opportunity to say shitty things about someone who posts content that doesn't rival OF and model content quality and body standards.
I have nothing against sex work, but the reality is that it actively attempts to muscle out exhibitionism enthusiasts and amateur content and it is difficult for them to exist in the same space. In the end, the person who is financially and incentivized is always going to win out over the ones doing it for fun because it stops being fun pretty quickly.
Huh, I didn't realize there was a "pictures of my ass" threshold I had to meet before I was allowed to have an opinion.
You've really highlighted the issue here, there's not much content! I used to post pretty regularly on reddit, and I'm getting back into the habit on my lemmy alt, but the reason I stopped posting on reddit is that every community on there got absolutely smothered with crossposts. I'm not in this for the money, I'm just kinda slutty and get off on exhibitionism, and nothing kills smaller communities like just-for-fun OC posters getting drowned out by a small number of pros splashing their goods across all and sundry. It's just not any fun.
In a community as young as Lemmy is, small actions will have an outsize impact on the broad community and it's future. Look, I'm not hating on the content or the hustle. A girls gotta eat, and I don't begrudge someone with an ass that nice working it for a payday. I'd just like lemmy not to be yet another soulless parasocial click mine where just-for-fun posters like me don't have a place. And I'd be dishonest if I didn't admit that I just really hate ads.
Please don't misconstrue my comments as telling you that you can't have an opinion. I am also simply expressing mine. I understand everything that you're saying, but shouldn't it just be a rule or set of rules then?
Anyway, I won't be commenting anymore on this. Happy to discuss in a DM or something.
I'll give you credit, that's one of the better attempts to slide into my DMs I've yet seen. But man, you must realize that's not going to happen. Additionally, trying to isolate a conversation with a woman when you discover your opinion is not the broadly popular one is not a great look. I don't think you think your intent is do that, or to gatekeep having opinions to only those that post content in the ways you want, but that's sure how you are coming across.
Look I'm not trying to attack you here, just point out behavior you're probably not even aware of. You're ignoring the voices of people explaining why they do not post more content and then justifying the same behavior they're explaining is the reason they do not post more content by using the lack of content as the justification. I get this is a small, slow community but it's going to turn into a generic r/nsfw_* community if every time a criticism is made it gets met with this kind of passive-aggressive passivity.
