Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for the presidential nomination from the Republican Party of the USA, who is in the top three in terms of popularity among Republican supporters, promises to recognize the Russian occupation of Ukraine and block its path to NATO if elected president.
Sorry for the headline. I don't know why they don't just say it's Vivek Ramaswamy.
To that end, I will accept Russian control of the occupied territories and pledge to block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Russia exiting its military alliance with China. I will end sanctions and bring Russia back into the world market. In this way, I will elevate Russia as a strategic check on China’s designs in East Asia.

I just need one. I’m a republican and won’t for of the pro-life people. Before roe was over turned. It was an academic discussion. Now that roe is overturned, it’s a policy discussion.

Haley has the sense that comprise is the the solution. I want full access but it’ll never happen. I’ll accept a compromise to the roe level.
Christie may have a nuanced stance but I haven’t looked.
The others all have a strict stance on abortion and that doesn’t fly with me.

I agree with you. The default option is don’t have one it you don’t want one.
To me this is about controlling others and I’m school republican which is about small government and freedom. Now they just want a government so small it’ll fit in a woman’s uterus.

This has to be solved by congress and if they paid attention, the majority of voters support abortion at least in some fashion. This would be a no brainer to solve. People may not happy with the end results but they'd be happy something happened.

It is a big enough issue I won't vote for anyone who is pro-life.
Ukraine is similar but if I had to weigh the two, abortion would win.
