This is so sad, yet unsurprising. Fuel is big business... Big business is a controlling interest in politics. Until we tear down, it will not change. I hate to be sinical but optical "change" is all most politicians care about. It's all about promising enough for re-election.
Sadly that's how most pollies are. Just enough to get reelected. No forward thinking. Only reelection.
