  • (Mod post) well that's what I get for believing the Internet. Thanks for posting, I'll fix the other threads before 3AM.

  • I was so hoping they’d introduce Giganto (the Deviant Mutate) when I first saw the kaiju (plural), and when Bruce turned into Giganto I was so so so glad since I’ve got a soft spot for anything Fantastic Four.

I additionally thought Namor could have shown up to fight when the beasts fell into the ocean. They also didn’t get Michael B. Jordan in this anime/mecha-inspired episode even though he’s a big fan of those genres.

I know it’s a cartoon, but there’s no way Sam’s and Monica’s mechs could float in the ocean.

It’s kind of weird how Moon Knight’s, Shang-Chi’s, and even Thor’s powers could be integrated into the mechs. I didn’t even recognize Moon Knight when his hologram first showed on screen, and I’m not sure how he in particular would have managed a position like that either.

The Watcher obviously hasn’t read any comics since he said “Issues left unresolved rarely stay buried for long”.

Do you guys just put the word gamma in front of everything?

  • Missed opportunity to just lean into 80s style animation. This episode should have been much sillier and not tried to be a serious "this is how it would really work" vibe.

It was a great concept for an episode, but I think the trailer was more fun than the actual episode.
