If you cant guarantee the safety of a product, limit or restrict its use cases or provide safety guidelines or regulations you should not sell the product. It is completely fair to blame the product and the ones who sell/manifacture it.

Web dev here. We REALLY SHOULD NOT be relying on GOOGLE for anything involving INTEGRITY. Only allowing Googles API for this is dystopian af. This is absolutely terrible.

This is what I find fascinating about capitalism. It builds on the premise of increasing profit by increasing efficiency and quantity. With that mindset we should strive to improve efficiency until no one needs to work and everything is automated and autonomous, no? That would be the peak of efficiency? But then how would people pay for the products being produced? They cant, it needs to be free, since no one has a salary because theyre not working. But then the CEOs wouldnt make money. So theres no incentive unless your goal is not monetary but to improve the ultimate wellbeing of humanity. Its inherently a flawed concept since the main incentive is monetary, yet we refuse to accept what must be the ultimate goal to be able to keep power above others.

And yes, i know this is very simplified. But still explain to me why we do mass layoffs in favor of AI slop if the incentive is not entirely monetary and for the sake efficiency and or cutting costs. Explain how and who will survive the further we go along? Capitalism at its core makes the rich the survivors. There wont be infinite recursions of 10x productivity revolutions because the workers will die off in the process.

Very true, they do ofc exist there. Nobara just gives you a first-time install-wizard which lets you one-click condigure it. I was more thinking of a use-case as OPs where you wont need to tinker too much after the initial installation.

But yes, basically all distros do have the drivers in their package repos, so any would work.

Dunno how nvidia drivers are for manually installing these days, know there was som jank before.

Im running Nobara and they got ez driver setup for both Nvidia and AMD GPUs. Either way I think you'll be fine no matter what distro you use.

Personally I like Nobara because it comes with a bunch of kernel patches, fixes and gaming utilities pre-installed.

Very true, and i agree with what youre writing. I definitely see both sides here. Ive learnt alot regarding mental health over the past few years after having people close to me dealing with it (in both good and bad ways).

I see that my comment can make it look like im oversimplifying the issue, so im happy you took your time to elaborate. To be more precise i think we have historically been more prone to have our experiences downplayed, either to cope or ill intent and i think this has acted as a precursor to the mental health issues we see today. I think todays trends of toxic masculinity, sexism and misogony are all closely related to how we percieve and handle mental health today. At the same time we've normalized a crazy work ethic and work environments which torment us daily.

I probably have a lot of things i want to say but have a hard time putting it into words right now. To summarize, mental health is indeed a way more complex issue than can be summarized in a few paragraphs. I think all of us would benefit from seeing a therapist, i probably should aswell. I do think that my initial comment is more aimed towards how previous generations have handled their situations. Which then let that behaviour live on without much self reflection and by extension affecting the peoples, society and environment of today.
