Privacy has been a big issue upheld by courts in Montana. Recently an anti-trans law failed because parents made a point to say they were losing the freedom to make decisions for their children. I don't know where the republican brains went with that, but that law completely floundered when it came time to vote.
I judge the Gadsden flag when I see it on vehicles (MT is the only "northern" state that has a license plate with it), but people in Montana generally do care about privacy much more than than hurting the outgroup

Definitely thought I was guessing low
I think it can be considered gender affirming care, because I have known a few men who felt like "less of a man" when they struggled with ED. Obviously you're correct that sexual function does not define a man, but for some men it is a defining part of how they experience life as a man
The other risks are linked to a ton of other cancers: smoking, and a weak immune system.
There is a vaccine for hpv now, so it'll be interesting to see if the rates of cervical cancer drop going forward.
I requested my medical records from my time in the military in 2014 and received them on CD. Which was funny because I didn't have a computer that could read them at the time, and I still haven't read them. Turns out the information i needed was already available to the people giving my c&p exam
I'm so proud of my lab partner because she's made it into a graduate program at the school I'm transferring to, and she earned her BS with magna cum laude today. That's nothing to sneeze at because I know how difficult our program is lol. When I met her in our freshman year she was a very self-conscious teen, but she is such an incredibly elegant, insightful young adult now, and I'm lucky to call her a friend.
I sat for a bit and thought today, because my only plan has been to graduate with a 4.0 and then kill myself. Because I just wanted to throw my academic ability in the face of my parents, who said I wouldn't amount to anything, before I die. Maybe I could have done this twenty years ago if they had gotten me adhd treatment, but the point is I could and did do it. But the associates was a technicality, like you said. I have a year left before I earn my bachelor's. Then maybe I can finally rest
Thank you, but ngl it feels a little weird to be called "champ" because I'm middle aged and not the gender that is typically called that 😅
I love how the Puerto Rico flag wasn't enough in their display name, and they had to put it over their and their baby's faces.
Edit: I assume it's a baby. Could also be a cat
If you ask my chemistry professor, there is only one category of truly recyclable plastic: thermoplastic. Within that category I think he specifically mentioned polypropylene, because it doesn't require the addition of new plastic to be stable after reforming into a new plastic product. Unfortunately that one rarely gets recycled because it's used for milk jugs and such, and food contamination is too big a hassle for people to deal with when there's all this shiny new plastic waiting to be used
I'm a little bit drunk right now so my memory is probably not the best, you should definitely not take what I said as perfect fact xD
People don't always make sense in their actions, and you might be trying to spend more effort understanding her than she is worth. Many people only have shallow "relationships" or interactions with each other, so it's possible that people you know have not gotten to know her beyond social pleasantries.
Have you heard about Mother Theresa? How she was such a good and holy person because she dedicated herself to the poor and sick? That when she died, the was a huge movement around the world to have her become a saint? Well, the world knows now that she was cruel to all those people. And she was using her position to continue abusing people that she felt were lesser than her.
It's pretty clear from this post, and your other posts, that this lady is not safe for you to be around. Saying that you don't want to be around someone should be enough, and you do not have to explain to anyone why you do not like her. I hope you have people in your life that can help keep you safe
Imagine how many people would still have jobs if people had just voted for the status quo candidate, instead of the one promising to burn everything down.
Good news for him, I guess. They're hiring more goons for the goon squad - I mean ICE.
Thank you :)
You are right, I can't see the person I am beyond my struggles. I think I feel like I am not deserving of success or achievement, let alone pride.
There is also a lymph node there, which can be quite painful when swollen.
I have tattoos over both my forearms and up the inside of my elbows and didn't have any issues with pain afterwards, but everyone's body is different in how it reacts to things.
Any tingling or pain in your hand, ring and pinky fingers? It kind of sounds like your ulnar nerve is where the pain is coming from
I wonder if increasing fat content will help? I tried my hand at vegan ice cream at one point during covid and that was the same problem I ran into. I kind of stopped trying after I realized coconut milk was the only real choice I had available
I did that around the 2020 election and got a very sad text back that a real human sends those texts and didn't deserve the "abuse"
So if anyone is wondering, 'fuck off" worked great in rural America years ago. Maybe it still does, because I didn't get any local calls last year asking for my money and vote
Genetics have a big impact on cholesterol. I've been vegan or vegetarian for most of my life and had to go on a statin in my early 30s. My dad and his parents suffered similarly. I also had my gallbladder out a few years ago.
People hear that and assume I eat a lot of fatty foods, but I don't. My last dietician actually tried to get me to consume more fat! (and eggs for some reason, despite my repeated reminders that I'm allergic to them lol)
Anyway, I'm at a healthy level and ratio of hdl/ldl now, but my doctor wants to keep me on the statin. I had pretty bad nightly leg pain for the first year or so, but that was the only side effect I can remember
"left out in the cold" is what this meme is referencing
