  • Was this d&d 5e? Then the wizard must be at least level 15 before they can copy an 8th level spell into their spellbook, and copying a spell scroll destroys the scroll.

Did you save your party? Then, in my book, you did good.

  • They're called books.

Also, the romans were in Britain for some 400 years after the death of Caesar - the story was available. Furthermore, some great literary works (like Dante's Divina Commedia) re-tell the story

Jeremy Crawford apparently is leaving WotC shortly, too

  • I'm no specialist, but (1) don't most solar panels have a fixed inclination and orientation? Depending on the location that will not be as optimal at each day of the year because of the tilt of the earth. (2) The weather/cliimate will have an effect too. Your 2nd image is apparently showing kWh/kWp - so the longer term yield (h=hours) divided by the theoreticall maximum (p=peak). So it shows longer term efficiency , vs the yield at a certain moment like you appear to be focusing on.

  • 5e RAW, they remain invisible. However, using the tinderbox will make noise so enemies will likely notice that.

In the 2024 rules, dealing damage (even if not by attacking) causes invisibility to end.

NOTE: both versions of the rules (see the oil item description) state that in this scenario, an enemy only takes damage if it enters or ends its turn in the oiled space. Starting their turn in the burning oil does not cause damage, so just moving out of the space will prevent the damage. The lighting of the oil also does not cause immediate damage

  • (assuming 5e or newer) You can't true polymorph into Tiamat. The 'aspect of Tiamat' from Fizban's is already CR 30, Tiamat herself is unstatted but obviously more powerful.

As a player character, you can only True Polymorph to a creature of CR 20 or lower

  • I use https://owlbear.rodeo/ for that. It allows you to cast your map to a 2nd screen in player mode, while you can still see the full picture. It has 'fog' to hide areas from the players and supports zooming in on each screen separately, or you can sync zoom&view (manually or continuously) from your dm screen
