Gabe shouldnt be able to have the money he has, but his yacht ownership isn't the issue many are making when pointing it out. One is his home, full time, any home he was going own was realistically going to suck for the environment. Last I read the others are all like research vessels, emergency medical facilities for disaster relief, and humanitarian aid, and shit. Not like a zuck's smaller yacht to act as a helipad for his larger yacht thing.

maybe some day we will have a system that prevents people from having that much money, until then any place with an active enough economy has some assholes owning yachts.

the good part about this being the city of industry is that they can't just pack up and leave there. COI was created, much like silicon valley, to develop industrial infrastructure. They are a vital point of general shipping, sourcing, prototyping, and many other things that aren't just everywhere, especially at the scale availability there. I am assuming the teamsters chose this location because of this. It would take years to recover from shutting down their presence there.

Lemmy is the first place I have used this name, so I doubt it. One of the longest use ones, like almost 20 years, had Mr. in it, so I just think its dudes wanting other dudes to see their dick, maybe get one back. that or some sort of scammer/conman.

This is not true, all of those things have drawbacks that not making the bed do not. Maybe never washing your bed clothes, sure, but just not making it is not the same as never cleaning your floors, or grooming your hair/body. If you don't clean the floors, they get sticky, attract pests, build up bacteria, etc. If you don't comb your hair it will begin to knot up, and cause scalp problems, if you don't do the dishes they will get covered in bacteria, and mold, and attract pests. Not making your bed doesn't have these types of consequences.

This is straight up not true in many places. Where I live they have a long list of things you can't have in your yard, or in your yard for extended periods of time. They have a list of rules for the flora, maintenance, etc.

The only time your assumption is true is the inside of the house. They can't do much there until it is a fire hazard, bio hazard, etc. , but that level of hoarding stuff is not common, and even then, there are limits to it before the city intervenes

On that note, you know many words have multiple definitions, so even if a definition colloquially exists, that differs from the one of most wide use, doesn't mean that in that local, the wider use case is suddenly void.
