  • I used to. I used Firefox as my daily browser for about 10 years. Desktop use there really isn't any significant difference, but I find the mobile experience for edge to be better.

I check in on Firefox every six months or so, and while feature parity is mostly there, the way they implemented the features just don't feel right? Like they're kinda backwards sometimes? It's hard to put into words, but they are different, and I prefer the way they function in edge.

Here you go! This deck has served me very well. The extra deck generic are not required, but if you're able to spend the UR points to get them I would say they're very well worth it.

Psychic End Punisher I believe is in the Punk pack, he's essentially an honorary punk and your second boss monster. I would lean towards him as being required, but the deck was playable even before he came out.

With that said, you do want your staples, Ash blossom, Maxx C, called by the grave. They're not in any packs so you'd have to craft them or get REALLY lucky with the master pack. As far as punk goes I believe it was only 5 archetypal URs in my deck.

Edit: If you sign into your Konami account in master duel and on that website I linked above, you can actually copy the deck directly into the game instead of doing it manually.

Check this video for an idea of how to play the deck. Then it's just about splashing in Dark magician for further extension. But you might even like that version which is a bit more pure.

  • If you want something that's easy to obtain, has been viable for quite some time but fair enough that I don't see them getting banned, have support for both archetypal and generic, as well as not too expensive and have a dedicated pack...

    Go for Punk.

They're quite strong on their own, personally I run a small magicians soul engine to extend my plays, and they can also splash into other synchro decks easily.

I'll share a deck list with you if you want to take a look.

  • How's the apple TV working for you? I'm sure as a media device it's fantastic. I played with one briefly at my friend's house and the UI is slick. Does it have GFN capabilities?

Same, looking forward to Activision and Blizzard. I would love to play Diablo 2 in the cloud.

  • Curious if maybe the publisher opted in and the Dev has little knowledge of GFN?

Not very familiar with the devs you mentioned, but I'm curious as to how much input they actually have in this scenario.

What I'm also curious about is whether or not they are responsible for the patching or Nvidia in this situation.

This is why we need more transparency from GFN.

  • I'm glad people are catching it early. I said the same thing when pixel 7 pro came out and it had "exclusive" features. These tensor chips are not vastly different from each other, no reason that these new features won't run on all of them except for greed.

My favorite is the new one with pixel 8 pro where it sends the video TO THE CLOUD to edit it and then you download it back, but it's an exclusive feature? Make it make sense.

  • Yes, this is what I'm most looking forward to. I need to see how they handle THAT scene. I like the fact that they (or at least Aerith) seem to be aware that something is wrong. I'm hoping they go all in on the concept, it's made me so much more excited for the game.

  • Yeah, I'm hoping the pen will come back around, unfortunately it seems proprietary?

Interesting! I didn't see anyone mention that. I'm ok with it being a clone with it being reviewed so well. Mostly for trying to lower the barrier of entry for windows on arm. I really want to get into it, but not for $1300 lol

I'm waiting to see if I can get it for around $550 or lower. That's what I bought my pro 6 for. But supposedly we're getting the next gen oryon CPUs in 2024, so I almost want to wait for that being that it's supposed to be the Apple M1 competitor.

  • I've been tracking the Robo & Kala in my attempts to get a cheaper (almost half the price) pro 9 sq3. It's been getting great reviews primarily for better battery life over the surface and having an OLED.

It's essentially the same chip as the sq3 and from all the reviews I've read and watched it actually outperforms it in most scenarios. My guess is from the lower resolution and refresh rate?

Here's one to check out: https://youtu.be/OVsZek_ZCP8?si=PLzf_HMaA4X35-5k

  • Honestly just something for day to day at home for personal use. Mostly in the browser, the apps that I did want are already compiled for arm thankfully.

I appreciate the feedback! I'm more so curious about speed in native apps in comparison. As well as battery life from a real user. I have a surface pro 6 i5 right now that's getting slow.

  • How's the MacBook doing for you? I'm really wanting to switch to an arm chip.

I'm trying to hold out till the next generation of windows on arm hoping for something closer to the m-series performance wise. The battery gains are just so good.
