This sounds good to me. I'm subscribed to c/rpgmemes which is run by the the old mod team of r/dndmemes but I'm also subscribed to c/dndmemes which is apparently run by people who wanted something like r/dndmemes. It's a little redundant and confusing but I wouldn't want either mod team to lose what they made
ok?
A short, simple explanation: it's kinda like a classic fantasy book except you make all of the decisions for one character. The DM isn't quite the same as an author because he mostly controls how the world reacts to the players and the events that happen as you travel, but the players are all essentially the protagonists of the story
Whenever there's a chance for failure, you roll dice to see if you succeed. Some characters are better at certain actions than others are so the game works best when the players cooperate
There's also a tactical aspect and some resource management to the game, but you can be eased into that without issues
Hate most of the things, but some of them are cool. Mud daubers are friends
Good choices. Those are pretty much the only stocks you ever need. Decent flavor variety and a vegetarian option. I prefer to make my own though
I love d12s. I see this as an absolute win
There's also the reaction from other developers claiming that the game "sets an unrealistic standard for what to expect out of a game" despite it being exactly what people want from a triple A studio. Just a complete, well made, functional game with no microtransactions
Idk, I don't even pay that much for kosher food and the smallest and cheapest kosher burger I've ever seen cost $5 with $10 being closer to the average
Did you pay $16.95 for lettuce? Tf kinda restaurant did you go to?
Sounds good to me. My only real complaint about solar panels is the space they occupy. That complaint goes away if that space can also be used for crops. It's a win/win
I think the report is sent to the admins of the instance you're logged into. Basically, you're reporting to yourself
You can carve a perfect replica of your camera with the parts on the wrong side and use a mirror to reverse it
It was kind of a clumsy way of putting it, but I was basically trying to say that you can't just point at one thing and say "this idea always leads here". You can make an educated guess at the general direction if the system is abused, but you can't be certain.
A system needs to be carefully maintained to stay in its best state as long as possible. We haven't invented the perfect system yet, so pretty much everything we have will eventually fall apart. We just need it to last 'til we can make something better
If capitalism inevitably becomes imperialism, then wouldn't the evolution of communism into something akin to Soviet Russia also be inevitable? Both are extreme worst case scenarios of a decent idea
I'm of the opinion that overcentralization of power inevitably leads to disaster. The people in New York can't truly understand the issues in Texas any more than the people in Texas can truly understand California's issues and Canada would have an even harder time truly understanding those same issues. The people who are working to fix problems should be close to those problems
I'm here by accident, this post keeps getting pushed on me. I'll check out some of the literature and see what it has to say though. If I learn something then thank you in advance
You need to weigh the feet down, but I'm willing to help. Cheap shoes and duct tape should do the trick
It's almost as if you can't describe an entire economic system in a single sentence accurately. Who knew?
The core of capitalism is that you own the means of production and what you produce. Corporate/crony capitalism is that you can own things that other people make because you paid them to make it. Under free market capitalism, I don't own the thing until I pay for the thing.
I hire you to make a chair and I'll probably give you some money beforehand to reserve the chair and pay for materials, but the chair isn't mine until you give it to me and I pay
