  • Thanks, I've used the archive before, but most articles I click on open within the Jerboa app I use for Lemmy. I need to open in Browser more often. I did need to bookmark that though, for some reason I would more often remember 12 ft ladder or whatever but results vary for me there

  • It's been a while since I've been there, but when did they do a way with the unlimited passes? Like weekend/7 day passes? I seem to remember being able to pay like $12 and ride however many times you needed, which was good for tourists obviously.

  • McAfee

    Jump
  • I usually just went into a lab at a school/college and took the key off the side of one of their desktops. Most schools would buy the machines and they would ship with windows licenses, then they would install their own Enterprise images with a sepetate license key. So if your license key wore off the bottom of a laptop, I'd steal one from there. If it was a Pro license, they worked to install up to Wim 10. I moved to Linux for most everything, but it's always nice to keep a key laying around in case I ever need it

  • If you ever end up watching Andor, they explain more of how the empire mines entire planets to collapse acquiring minerals they need, destabilizes galactic views of planets to ensure resistance would be minimalized. It also goes into how the weakness in the DeathStar was created and how some engineers were essentially enslaved/forced into to building it. Believe they gun down most of the lead engineers in Rogue One.

Edit: light speed is really one of the only non-defined technologys I find. But they have tractors everywhere, so I assume the point is with mass amounts of energy... You can do near anything

(I meant reactors, but tractors are pretty funny so I'm leaving it)

  • Maybe this:

"I got it to quick boot with a BIOS tweak on retaining RAM profiles. I found a quick video to fix the issue.

Under DRAM Timing Controls, I just set Memory Context Restore to Enabled. Now it clears CMOS in like 15 seconds and boots windows in another 15 seconds. So basically normal speeds."

    Different board but same symptoms

  • No chance you've got a live disk laying around you can boot to and run memory tests from? Hopefully someone else will come around and say they've had the same problem before. I'm impatient and usually would go straight to either removing 1 stick and testing boot times and swapping to the other stick after to compare.

A Mint install laying around on a flash drive likely should allow you to boot into and run memtests without needing to install anything. Maybe it will help narrow down if there is an issue with the drive the OS is installed on, but I think I'm just rambling about things you already have thought about.

  • Yeah, for a magazine or something to pay for a photo they would want it to to be something people haven't seen before. I know Radcliffe did a talk about wearing the same clothes (jacket really) when leaving movie sets every day so the locations, person, and clothing all matches for say 6 months. Value of the photos drop, less likely to have more paparazzi hounding you daily.

  • I seem to remember liking Resistance: Fall of Man, but it isn't something you'll play over and over. But the couch co-op story mode was fun to play with my partner back in 2007 or so.

A Way Out was fun recently for couch co-op story as well, but I'm not sure if that is the type of shooter you are looking for. I had never played a game like it before, was pretty cool.

  • Why not throw in 5 for ease of life. Washer died, can carry it to the curb with ease and not have to ever bother someone else. I realize you can just hire people but I feel like super strength is ultimately just a lazy perk, and damn I'm lazy. Back hurts from playing with your kids, psh, they way about the same as a penny, wouldnt even need to think about it.

  • With the provision striping the courts ability to use federal funds to hold the executive branch in contempt it all but guarantees every Democrat will have to vote against it. The entire bill is likely considered unconditional because of it
