No, I'm places on time. While waiting on your tardy ass isn't the problem, it's still problematic. Get your shit in a pile. Our time is finite and valuable, not a soul wants to spend it waiting on someone who basically lied about when and where they'll be.

Because corporate logos and names are our new deities. Chill out and have a Star Bucks!

I believe our consciousnesses are narrative based. That's the magic. Every thought idea etc is a narrative.

I just started Acapulco. It's a great little story, I've really been enjoying it! My Spanish is almost good enough to get by without subtitles. Estoy tan orgulloso de me mismo!!

I was also disappointed by interior china town. Cool concept, but the story dragged and the cinematography was too gloomy.

We've got transit cards, but some people still insist on cash. To be fair the same people that struggle finding coins are the same people who struggle finding a fare card. Or will try to sit in the entryway of the bus, fire up the app, and buy a ticket, then activate said ticket, then struggle to scan said ticket.

Oh man! I'm a city bus driver, and the amount of people that struggle with getting fare in the box is too damn high! I don't understand how you could make a bus full of people wait for you to dig through your pockets at a pace that would make glaciers impatient. You're standing at the bus stop, you know you're getting on the bus, know you'll need fare, yet here we are.

I want to get a documentary crew to follow some of these people around for a while just to see what they do with their days. I genuinely wonder how some people function.

Idk, I feel like landlords would just jack prices by whatever the ubi payments are. Ubi is a good idea for sure, but it's only a piece.

I know this is mostly a shit post, but if you're ever working on anything that has the slightest ability to maim, electrocute, etc use lock out tag out procedures. Industrial accidents are real, and can take someone from this world in a heartbeat. Stay safe nerds!

I always thought the timing on events surrounding that was super sus. 1st Bernie tricks congress into giving people a weekly check. Que the powers that be clutching their pearls and decrying "nobody wants to work anymore!" Next we have one of the largest influxes of immigrants we've ever had, with the border more or less flung open. Lots of cheap willing labor. Lord forbid American workers get a leg up. And once again we're fighting anything but a class war.

Edit: don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on anyone who showed up looking for a better life. I hate the powers that be scheming to keep the price of labor low, scheming to sow discord and xenophobia in a crass and clumsy reaction to a huge swath of our population not needing their peon style economic arrangement for a few mere weeks.
