Appeasing Trump does not work. It just shows him you're weak and willing to back down. He will come back for more again and again as long as you keep bending over for him.
That kind of question is pretty standard after an event like this. What's interesting is how defensive he got though. He knows it was fucked up and he knows it could hurt him so he responds like a scared animal. It blows my mind that anyone can look at things like this and think "yeah there's a strong leader"
It's a possibility. People need to wake up and realize the seriousness of what's happening. And they are waking up. I'm just not sure if it's quick enough.
The regime won't just fall. It'll need people to make it fall, and I haven't seen enough people stepping up to make that happen. Americans are still too passive, thinking that waving signs around one day a few weeks ago will overthrow a fascist. It's a start, but nowhere near the end.
