Creepy, I too had a video popup on YT about it. Really sweet idea though around the memento for your cat!
Oh wow, that's cheap! It's £3.15 for a dozen large eggs here, so I think that's $4.15USD, $5.80CAD!

This was my mistake and you're right. I had read as part of an announcement in the news that Ethanol is used for beer, wine, and spirits. Seems I wasn't the only fool.
Just one possible example would be that Ethanol is used in making beer, wines, and spirits. If pre-pandemic it was found people were socialising after work more than they are now, the consumption of those things would have been greater compared to now. I imagine they will want people socialising more after work to buy more booze to make the most of the imported Ethanol.
With the latest ethanol trade deal with the US, I can only imagine there is going to be another big push to eliminate WFH/hybrid working in a lot of businesses.
That's right, us peasants shouldn't be at home with our families and loved ones, we should be working long hours, sitting in traffic or stood waiting for another late train, and then spending what we've earned on drowning our frustrations of the hamster wheel we're on at the end of the day.
I'm really hoping this whole push to get everyone back in to the office is a generational thing from the boomers, and once they're finally retired we can see a new shift in the workplace. But then that is probably being too optimistic.
I'm surprised the BBC didn't include the national insurance changes around Indians coming to the UK not having to pay NI in the first 3 years, and vice versa for UK people going to India. Seems like a fairly big part of the deal that no doubt Reform/Tories will latch onto to bring the anti-immigrantion lot to a frothing rage.

The second to last word I knew it wouldn't be, and I didn't ask myself if I should, I just wanted to know if I could.
I bought a £6 metal one, it's only a small one as I still have plenty of mobility. I imagine if you have a bad back or reduced mobility you'd want a longer one. I think the brand was called Zomake? I bought it many years ago, it's still in great condition apart from the logo wearing off.
I know I may seem old for saying this, but I highly recommend getting a decent metal shoehorn. Makes putting on shoes a breeze, and no need to wreck your fingers or do that foot-heel pumping thing. The backs of my trainers last so much longer now too!
Fortunately I'm not invested in the MCU as much as I once was. Probably worth chucking the spoiler in some spoiler tags though?
Actually maybe not? At this point I don't know..
I think you're right, they know it's a problem and they agree something needs to be done. There is a lot connected to it and it has a large impact on the image of the politicians.
Back when I was 15 I had a gf that was basically nocturnal. She'd throw shit at me (e.g. scissors, a knife, a fork) while I was sleeping if I was breathing too loud. If the internet died in the house she would wake me up to try and fix it.
Strange that they include Kraven Hunter in the list but not Madame Web which had a greater loss of like $100m?
For that price I'd expect the beans and tomato to be swapped out with more bacon or an extra sausage. Absolutely robbed.
Unfortunately there is a pyramid scheme in place filled with fools that think they can become that one and are willing to fight against those "beneath" them.
You're right, she was portrayed as pretty weak in the movies. I feel like she almost took the role of Jubilee when comparing with the original cartoon. But also she did have her moments of weakness in the original cartoon.
Watched this film last night with my other half. Before starting I asked what they thought would be the movie out of 5, they said 2.5, I said 3.5.
Secretly I was hoping it would be higher given there was association to the creator of The Raid and The Raid Redemption. Going in I was expecting minimal story with a ton of gory action, and some awesome choreography.
The first car chase scene was a dark, fuzzy, shaky mess with what definitely looked like poor CGI. It was giving me a bit of nostalgia from back when I used to play Max Payne.
Following action sequences were also all shaky cut cam, which really puts me off as you know the choreography is just not great. Where was the clean hard hitting action we would see from the likes of The Raid?
Story wise it met my expectations, a loose plot and helps drive the action sequences forward, but presenting me with a bunch of characters I just didn't care about.
I think my partner got the guess right, 2.5.
