  • good old "let's do an evil playthrough", "oh i have the option to shoot them in the face and take their money, uhhh, welllllll maybe they'll be useful to me later, let's spare them...."

  • this made me realize how great this map would be for an alternate history or fantasy setting

the mountain range between north america and africa creates the super interesting situation where the sides are almost entirely separated save for the coast and a teensy tiny bit near cape town that's sort of crossable, so the coast would see an insane amount of traffic and i could see there being a capital nestled in the mountains next to the passage to cape town.
And of course the indian ocean would be where basically everyone lives, as others have said.

  • nonetheless it hurts to take a bath in

  • this feels like a felix colgrave video

  • that would be extremely funny on a post about american senators

  • i know a cat that would just start purring and maybe lick your foot if you used it as a footrest (gently)

  • now now, people definitely care about invisible woman.

  • water at 98°C isn't technically boiling yet but you'd be slightly miffed if i poured it on your hand

  • his actions? luigi hasn't done anything but look similar

  • there is wisdom in my bellybutton, if you care to find it

  • AI... maybe nuanced?

gets torn to shreds and eaten alive by literally everyone

  • fornicogtion

  • "i know what git and GCC are"

  • which checks out becuase uhhh, that's why we invented stories 🧠

  • actually talent is stored in the balls.
    and i'm willing to share

  • for those not living in a place with electricity, sure

  • unpopular opinion: beds are overrated, just get a bunch of blankets as a mattress and cover and sleep on the floor.

but also there's a difference between "putting the pillow and cover back into place" and "spending half an hour removing every wrinkle and imperfection". The former is so quick that one might as well do it, the latter feels neurotic

  • the problem isn't captcha as a concept, it's how it's executed

there are good captchas that aren't obviously making you train an AI model and which seem like they'd actually be effective at identifying humans, like dragging a circle over a specific feature of an image.
