So got GSConnect to work... I had to also enable it in Extension manager for some reason. I had no idea it's an extension since I've just i stalled it as RPM package from the discover store.

Anyhow, it's just confusing. I was installing KDE Connect on both my PC and laptop. I never even heard of GSConnect until I started troubleshooting and I thought it's just some GNOME fork of KDE-Connect, not actually a mandatory replacement for KDE-Connect on GNOME.

It may make sense in the name but the name makes it even more confusing. Since it works on Android/Windows,... Why would I not assume it will work on Linux GNOME?

But thanks, I found GS conncect in the Extension manager... Why the hell is it even there? Anyhow, it works. But the fact I cant uninstall KDE Connect now drives me crazy... Time for fresh system install I guess... Again

I cant even uninstall KDE-connect now. Even via terminal it doesn't work.

Error: org.kde.desktop is not installed. Is it really required to have KDE Desktop?

I've installed Fedora 42 KDE to try out Plasma 6.4 as last time I've used KDE it was 5.x... Anyhow, I'm back to GNOME after 2h of messing with settings unable to get desired results. And the KDE animations are just bad... Still better than Windows though.

But I wouldnt turn it on and actually play with it even if I could because I will always take the better performance.

I've actually tried Path Tracing in CP2077 running at native Steam Deck resolution streamed to my Steam Deck OLED from my PC at max settings and it could do 30FPS locked fairly well (overlocked by 20% though). But the game looks absolutelly horrible in motion with it's terrible LOD so no amount of RT or PT can save it. It looks dope for screenshots though. But that's PT, RT is basically almost indistinguishable. And PT is many, many years away for it to be viable for majority of people to use.

FreeCAD is great for 3D CAD models but not that great for CAD drawings

The progress is just not there.

I've got RX 6800 XT for €400 in May 2023 which was at that point almost a 3y old card. Fastforward to today, the RX 9060 XT 16GB costs more and is still slower in raster. Only thing going for it is FSR4, better encoder and a bit better RT performance about which I couldn't care less about.

So I've tried it and it works but it's extremely annoying to use to the point that I find it pointless unless there is a fix...

Some games launch unfocused so I will only see Steam loading icon on my Steam Deck and I have to go to my PC and with mouse click on the game in the tray to put it into focus to play it. For example Dragon Quest XI, any way to fix that?

Yeah, I'm gonna stop enjoying fun books or movies because somebody else is upset about the author...
