  • You also can't make promises of any real change while also pivoting right. Not making any promises was apart of the strategy of appearing as the "normal" candidate. Obviously this is a dumb as hell idea but I do think its what the Harris campaign was thinking: promise nothing and the voters have nothing to be upset about.

  • To me campaigning for PSL seems more important than actually voting for PSL. Neither are deluded into thinking they can win the election. But the Greens have a 5% goal where they get can get national campaign funding. I'm not sure what the goal is for the PSL other than publicity.

  • I need to fucking put money down AND PAY FOR THE FUCKING INSPECTION

Put money down on the house or money down on the inspection? You want to be the one who pays the inspector. Otherwise the owner will hire an overlooker. Also be sure to get a real inspector and not some specialist moonlighting as a general inspector.

But otherwise, buying a house is one of if not the most Byzantine part of american society. The stakes are so high that its caked in two centuries of laws. Land ownership is the cornerstone of the cornerstone of american society. And if there is anything more important, its land scams.

  • My problem is you really can't effectively campaign for Kamala and acknowledge the genocide. You'll see many liberals try to thread this needle but then their campaign slogan is "vote for the lesser genocide" which really self defeating. Eventually they'll get sucked into genocide apologia or even denialism out of convienice. When that happens, fuck em. For the ones that keep trying to thread the needle, I'll keep asking them why they are so invested in electoralism.
