  • The Iranian media, Mehr News Agancy, wrote:

According to the announcement of IRIB, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforooshan was martyred in Israel's attack on Beirut, alongside Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The Israeli regime carried out heavy airstrikes on Beirut's Dahie on Friday, leaving dozens of people killed and injured.

Hezbollah secretary-general Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was also martyred in the Israeli strike, the Resistance Movement said in a statement on Saturday afternoon.

It's a direct link to the Times of Israel website.

Anyway, I hope they are wrong. Finkelstein had said in his recent interview that Iran knows if Hezbullah falls they will fall. To be frank, his saying is not far from the truth. If Iran sits on its bum and keep doing lip service it will end badly. Imagine a middle east with no opposing force to Israel, its hell.

Iran, Hezbollah, and the rest of the Axis of Resistance appear to be preparing for an Israeli ground operation into Lebanon. The IDF has observed around 40,000 Iranian-backed Iraqi, Syrian, and Houthi militants concentrate around the Syrian border with the Golan Heights, according to Israeli media. It is unclear why and when the Axis of Resistance deployed these militants or whether they were already in the area.

I remember reading an article from an Iranian outlet that Iran's response to Haniyeh assassination isn't necessarily aerial and it could be on the ground like opening a new front in Syria. Now I see what happened.

  • Pezeshkian just did an interview with CNN and said: Hezbullah can't stand against Israel on its own.

It even became headline in Iranian media let alone Zionist, see it for yourself. The problem is the message that it sends to poor Lebanese. 😑

  • Your first question has a long answer which I can't put together right now due to literally having fever.

He did condemn Mahsa Amini's incident right when it happened when he was a MP, and he did so on National TV. Perhaps that was one of the reasons the Guardian Council accepted his candidacy. Total number of people who participated in Raisi's election was a all time low because the GC had disqualified anyone who would challenge Raisi. Some people called that election a "selection". Thus the ballots became bins and the wonderful management of Mahsa protests which involved a lot of pouring gas over the fire meant next election would have even less people participating which is a matter of legitimacy. So they had no choice but bring a guy who was critical of their actions.

No politician, including Pezeshkian, have suggested removing mandatory Hijab, instead they just criticize the Hijab Police's approachs.

Presidents in Iran don't get to choose their foreign policy without getting permission from the leader. Don't worry.

  • Iranian media constantly assuring that its ambassador in Lebanon is just slightly injured, now they say he had a "little" eye surgery and he is good and all.

Meanwhile a low ranking conservative official raised questions about Raisi's helicopter crash and whether Israel did the same thing to the electronics aboard the helicopter that it did to Pagers in Lebanon.

I purpose adding more Hijab Police to streets because thats apparently more important than the national security 😒.

  • If tweets about explosion of whole other range of electronics turns out to be true then one thing is for certain, Israel have dealt a huge damage not only to Lebanon but to liability and reliability of products made in West.

I'm still highly reluctant to believe Israel is going to follow up these atrocities with an invasion should Hezbullah not react with disproportionate response.

  • Yes, the pagers were carried by unarmed members too. The thing is those members were out in public among ordinary people with pagers in their waist bags. If a you were a kid standing next to someone with these pagers, the bomb would be literally in your face. Let alone people who were sitting next to them.

  • Videos coming out of Lebanon's hospitals show what Israel did was a massacre, victims especially children badly wounded. There is probably more martyrs in upcoming days.

I want to point out something, that is what we see here is Israel's response to Yemen's ballistic missile that was fired two days ago which landed near Tel Aviv, terrorizing Israelis.

Israel not only terrorized but killed people in response, now even I am worried as a Iranian living in Iran. What if Israel pull something similar here? Well, if that's what it takes to bring Israel one step closer to its downfall so be it.

  • Here is a BBC article on Israel's abduction of the Iranian man

Here is the NourNews article on arrest of that Israeli spy

Now take note of dates which these articles were published. In both cases the abductees were filmed and broadcasted on TV. In both cases abductees were asked to talk in their native language, Hebrew and Farsi, so that the people of the opposing nations witness the failure of their intelligence services.

Noticing stuff like this requires reading news published in Farsi inside Iran. Israel and Iran go quiet and deny when embarassing stuff happens to them or when they reach deals behind the scenes.

For instance during the Iran/Israel shadow war where they were targeting each others industrial and military infrastructure and assassinating intelligence officers, 90% of the stuff didn't even get published in English or was being reported as 'accidents'.

One such example is when Israelis sabotaged a chemical factory in Iran leading to hospitalization of 90+ people which got reported as accident. It took about a week for Iranian media to report a chemical factory in Israel suffered cyberattacks which according them led to hospitalization of few people.
